On 27 September, detour guide Florian van Zandwijk took visitors along on a Sunday Stroll that explored the exhibition Lithium from his own perspective as designer.
Florian led us through Lithium, paying attention to our use of mobile phones. How dependent are we on a fully charged battery? Not only the one in your smartphone, but also your own battery. What happens to our mood if we keep on mirroring ourselves in this technology?
Taking his fascination for culture and technology as his starting point, Florian works as a designer with a diversity of media, from written text to video-essays and social-media platforms. With his work he always tries to dive deeper into current topics.
''If I share my knowledge and ignorance with others, and they do so with me, it may lead us all to gaining new insights, or to raise new questions.''
