Sunday Stroll with Semm
On 11 October, detour guide Semm Capella will take us on a 'Sunday Stroll 'through the exhibition 'Art on Display. 'Viewing the exhibition from his perspective as an artist manager and entrepreneur, Semm will focus on the way artworks are presented, and how this influences the way they are seen. He is curious to find out more about the experience and vision of 'Sunday Stroll 'visitors.
11 October 2020 14:00 - 15:00
_Art on Display 1949-69 _is an exhibition which, rather than focusing on the artworks themselves, revolves around the way these artworks are presented. How do we present art? And how do we look at it, as museum visitors? Most visitors immediately focus their attention on the artwork itself, unaware of how their encounter with it has been carefully staged by a designer.
Semm is a writer at heart and raps as a hobby. His company H&V Agency helps artists develop and manage their careers, and he has also started a brand for rings, pocket squares, silk scarves, and other luxury accessories. His favourite things are music, family, and creation.
"It's not just a tour, it's an experience."
